Connor McLaren is singer-songwriter based in Indiana. His influences include the likes of Bob Dylan, Oasis, and Ben Kweller. He recently released his first two singles in the fall of 2020 and for his upcoming album release, I shot proposed album cover art.
I created the set out of sentimental items and photos from his youth. The set included tributes to his musical influences and what has molded him to be the musician he is today. It was shot outdoors to evoke the feeling of a childhood hideout or magical treehouse. He eventually went in a different direction, but images were used to promote his release.
